Recap of Yesterday’s Action: 3-0 on the day. I’mMrDaily wins again.
I’m riding a hot streak of 7-2 on the week including my 3-0 performance last night. But with coronavirus striking, I’m not sure I’m even going to have sporting events to pick over the next few weeks. Until that time though, I’m going to keep riding these college basketball tournament picks. Let’s get into it.
Pick 1: Creighton (-5.5)
St. John’s has won their first round game in the Big East Tournament each of the last three years. What happened in their second game you ask? Losses by a combined total of 101 points!! That doesn’t bode well for the Red Storm today, especially since they’re playing the noon Eastern game after a late finish last night. I’m all over Creighton -5.5.
Pick 2: Tennessee (ML)
Tennessee recently beat Kentucky, they didn’t lose to PENN this season, and Rick Barnes is a better coach than Avery Johnson. There’s my reasoning for taking Tennessee moneyline over Alabama.
Pick 3: West Virginia (ML)
Oklahoma’s beaten West Virginia twice this season. You don’t beat a team three times in a season in men’s college basketball. Just ask TCU who fell to a far inferior Kansas State team last night. Oklahoma has one ball handler and Brady Manek has been cold of late. Unless they’re playing on getting another 40+ from Austin Reaves, I don’t see OU pulling this one out. I’m taking West Virginia moneyline.
