I went a very easy 3-0 on my UFC 249 picks, so are you going to actually listen to me this time or be dumb and bet against the house again for UFC Fight Night 171? These are all winners; I give you nothing but winners. Let’s start trying to remember that.
Pick #1: Glover Teixeira (+155) vs. Anthony Smith
Anthony Smith is a great fighter, but Glover Teixeira is better. He’s got a higher fight IQ, and he’s a cleaner striker than Smith. I think this is an easy win in the main event for Glover.
Pick #2: Ray Borg (+125) vs. Ricky Simon
I can’t believe Ricky Simon is the favorite in this fight after losing his last two pretty convincingly. Ray Borg is going to take this one easily.
Pick #3: Marvin Vettori (-200) vs. Karl Roberson
This is a horrible matchup for Roberson. Vettori is already the better fighter, and now he has something to prove as he feels this fight will propel him to a ranked position. He’s going to take this one in the first round.
