Well, we hit a snag yesterday. I think I got a little too cocky for my own good, but we’re back at it today because, as gamblers, we need to have a short memory. Nothing but winners today, folks.
Pick #1: New York Yankees ML (+100) @ Tampa Bay Rays
There’s two reasons I’m making this pick. Number one is that the Yankees are way too good right now to not take money line when they’re giving positive odds. Number two is the Yankees historically own Blake Snell. If Tanaka can find his form, I think this should be a win for the Yankees in their first 2020 game in Tampa.
Pick #2: Edmonton Oilers vs. Chicago Blackhawks OVER 6.5 (-111)
I’ve taken the over for the first three games of this series, and it’s hit every time. I’m not stopping now.
Pick #3: Pittsburgh Penguins ML (-182) vs. Montreal Canadiens
I predicted before this series even started that it would go four games because the Habs would steal one with Price. Well, tonight’s the night for the Penguins to prove me right. They’re going to clinch in and move on to round two tonight.
