This film is worth watching for Brad Pitt’s performance alone. It can be slow and brooding at times, but it’s a pretty great take on the space genre and has stunning visuals to help guide it along. I really like Pitt’s characterization throughout the film, and I thought Tommy Lee Jones did a nice job as the angry and distant father. Ad Astra has a runtime of 123 minutes and can be streamed on HBO.
