Yes, I know that Kevin Spacey is cancelled. That doesn’t make this movie any less great. It’s basically just Sam Rockwell and Kevin Spacey’s voice in this movie that takes place up on the moon…as its title might suggest. Sam Bell (Rockwell) is working alongside his computer GERTY (Spacey) up on the moon to send resources back to the earth to help its power problems. As you can imagine, living up on the moon for three years by yourself can create some deep emotional issues. It’s fascinating to watch these play out over the course of the movie’s 97 minute runtime.
