Shirley isn’t the best movie I’ve ever seen, but it’s something new in 2020, and that’s what I care about! Elizabeth Moss might get nominated for two Oscars this year between Shirley and Invisible Man. She absolutely carries this movie as a neurotic writer of horror stories, and Odessa Young delivers as a fantastic performance as both Moss’s house guest and the subject of her new book. I strongly recommend checking this movie out; it’s worth your time. Shirley has a runtime of 107 minutes and can be streamed on Hulu.
