Remember when Thursday nights used to mean something? We were anticipating a weekend that was going to be different than our normal work week. Now, with everyone quarantined for the foreseeable future, Thursdays are just another night to stay in and enjoy a movie. I’m picking Hot Rod tonight because I’m in need of a laugh. I’m a huge fan of Andy Samberg, and I think that this movie is criminally slept on. It’s got a killer cast with Bill Hader, Isla Fisher, Will Arnett, Chris Parnell, Sissy Spacek, and Ian McShane, and it’s one of the most quotable movies of the 2000s. Hot Rod has a runtime of 88 minutes and can be streamed on Netflix.
