Today’s Picks:
Raptors (-8) @ Warriors
UCONN (ML) vs. Houston
Wild @ Sharks under 6.5 goals

Last night was tough. TCU covered the spread but still lost, so I wasn’t stoked about that. Then, Notre Dame lost on a last second putback layup and a halfcourt shot that hit the back of the rim and missed at the buzzer. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the Flames and Blue Jackets combined for five goals which fell right under the 5.5 puck line. But tonight’s my bounce back.

Let’s start in the NBA. Steve Kerr is a great coach – probably top three in the NBA. But this season, it seems like he can only get his guys up on the road. Since the start of 2020, the Warriors are 1-13 at home, haven’t won there since January 18, and haven’t had a single digit loss at home since January 4. I’ve got a good feeling about this Raptors team in their NBA Finals rematch tonight, and I can’t believe the Raptors are only 8 point favorites. I’m taking the Raptors +8 and even trying to tease it up as high as they’ll let me. I think this is a 14+ point blowout tonight.

I love UCONN at home tonight against Houston. UCONN has won four out of five, and their loss came in 2OT against Temple. Houston, on the other hand, has lost their last two road games to SMU and Memphis. The first time these two teams played, Houston won by four at home. I think tonight’s a close game, but I’m taking the Huskies moneyline with a high level of confidence.

I’m getting back on the NHL unders train tonight with the Wild and the Sharks. They have two hot goaltenders battling it out tonight, and neither team has a very high powered offense. A puck line of 6.5 seems pretty steep for this one, so I’m going back to my old ways and hammering the under.

Yesterday’s Record: 1-2

My 2020 Record: 6-3
