Today’s Picks:
TCU (+16.5) @ Kansas
Notre Dame (ML) vs. Florida State
Flames @ Blue Jackets over 5.5 goals

I really can’t believe that Rutgers beat Maryland. That damn team has been losing me money all year, beating the teams they shouldn’t and losing to the teams they should beat. I’m putting the James Creange Curse on them for the NCAA Tournament in hopes they lose in the first round and give me some satisfaction. I’ve learned my lesson though, and I won’t be betting against my home state of New Jersey for awhile. My other two picks on the night were correct, but I’m too focused on this frustrating Rutgers team.

I have a rule that I never bet on games that my alma mater TCU is playing in…but that doesn’t mean I can’t give you tips for how to bet on them. TCU is riding high after beating former #2 Baylor on Saturday, and they are heading into Lawrence, Kansas, tonight to take on the Jayhawks. I don’t believe for one second that they’re going to win this game, but the spread is 16.5 points! That’s outrageous for a team that has just one double digit loss to Kansas since 2017, and that came earlier this year in a game that they trailed by just four with a few minutes left. TCU plays Kansas close, and with a limited Udoka Azibuke tonight, I would expect Kansas to be below average on offense and defense. I’m (recommending) taking TCU +16.5 on the road tonight.

I love Notre Dame tonight at home. They’ve got #7 Florida State coming into their building and are fighting for an NCAA Tournament berth. This is their chance. They lost to Florida State on January 25th by just a point in Tallahassee. Now they’ve got them coming into South Bend on a Wednesday night with a crowd that’s ready to storm the court. Give me the Notre Dame moneyline tonight.

I’m hot with the NHL over/unders. Might as well keep riding them right? The Flames are headed to Columbus tonight to take on the Blue Jackets, and the over/under total is set at 5.5. I told you yesterday that I was hot taking the hockey unders, but let’s make it two in a row and get hot riding the overs. The Flames haven’t scored fewer than three goals in a game since February 6, and the Blue Jackets haven’t allowed fewer than three goals in a game since February 10. So let’s say we can count on the Flames scoring three, the Blue Jackets have scored at least three in five of their last six. It just feels right for a six or seven goal game tonight. Let’s take that over at 5.5 and make it two straight days hitting the over.

Yesterday’s Record: 2-1

My 2020 Record: 5-1
