Last Night’s Record: 0-3
Post COVID Record: 7-15
0-3? This makes me miss the days when I was going 1-2 every night. Not great. But this is a new week which means that it’s a new me. Wins only this week, folks.
Pick #1: Memphis Grizzlies vs. New Orleans Pelicans UNDER 237 (-110)
Listen, the defense in the bubble could not have started out worse for teams across the league. But 237? That is an outrageously high number. Especially for these two teams that played last week and had a combined 210 points. I hate betting unders, but I feel confident taking this one because it’s the highest of the night for two teams that have, so far, had stretches of scoring issues.
Pick #2: New York Rangers ML (+120) vs. Carolina Hurricanes
I don’t know what to say; I believe in the Rangers. They need this win because winning three in a row in the bubble seems like a very tall task. If a few bounces of the puck had gone the other way, they would have won on Saturday. I feel very confident in this pick.
Pick #3: Pittsburgh Penguins ML (-175) vs. Montreal Canadiens
The Penguins aren’t going down 2-0 in this series. It’s just not happening. The team is too good to be stopped twice in a row by Carey Price.
A parlay on these three bets will net +560 odds.
