I’m officially addicted to betting the NBA 2K league. I knew this would happen; I just didn’t think it would happen so quickly. Let’s dive right into tonight’s picks.
Pick #1: Kevin Durant (-120) vs. Derrick Jones Jr.
This will be true for every matchup, but I obviously don’t know how any of these athletes are at 2K. What I do know, though, is that Durant just spent the last few weeks quarantined after testing positive for coronavirus. What do you think he was doing that whole time? Reading? Don’t think so. He was playing 2K. Give me Durant here.
Pick#2: Michael Porter Jr. (+180) vs. Devin Booker
Despite missing two full years of basketball because of injury, Porter Jr. is a 4.5 point underdog here. I don’t get that. The guy spent TWO YEARS just sitting around playing 2K. I’m not picking against him.
Pick #3: Trae Young (-170) vs. Harrison Barnes
I trust Harrison Barnes to miss wide open shots in NBA Finals games. I don’t expect him to win at 2K. I’m taking Trae Young with absolute confidence tonight.
