History
Keno is one of the oldest casino games, and many call the game the Chinese Lottery. Originally, keno was played with 80 Chinese characters but was changed to numerals 1 through 80 to make comprehension easier for modern players. Keno is very popular in casinos, bars, and online because of its simple rules and frequent payouts. Almost every online casino across the world offers at least some form of keno.
Keno is a game very similar to the lottery and bingo. In it, the player will select anywhere from 2 to 10 numbers on a card that lists the numbers 1 through 80. Twenty numbers from that card will then be selected with the player hoping that their numbers will be among them.
How To Play
Before selecting their numbers, the player must choose a stake amount. After the stake has been set, the player can either have the computer randomly select their numbers, or they can choose them by clicking on the keno board. To select a number, the player can simply click on the number that they want. To deselect a number, simply click it again. Players can also choose how many games they would like to play with that set of numbers. There will be an option to Play One, Play Five, or Play Ten. Once all of this has been selected, the keno game begins.
The payouts are straightforward and dependent on the amount of numbers selected and the amount of money wagered. If a player selects 10 numbers and matches 3, the payout will be small. However, if the player selects just three numbers and matches all three, the payout will be large. The highest payout in keno is a perfect 10 for 10 match selection.
