Regardless of your political beliefs, I think it is totally possible to enjoy Vice. If you sway Left, I think you’ll love it. If you sway Right, I think you’ll really enjoy it. Christian Bale perfectly portrays Dick Cheney, and Amy Adams’ role as Lynne Cheney is one of my favorite that she’s ever done. It’s an Adam McKay movie, so there are a lot of parts that are going to be exaggerated and a bit over-the-top for comedy, but I think he does an amazing job taking this dialogue-heavy, fourth-wall-breaking film and making it very interesting much like he did with The Big Short. Vice can be streamed on Hulu and has a runtime of 132 minutes.
