I rewatched this movie last weekend, and it’s as good as I remember. It’s pure action with maybe one of the most implausible plots of all time, and it’s so damn enjoyable. I don’t really get why movie execs never let Gerard Butler speak in his natural accent, but, that aside, he still DELIVERS. Aaron Eckhart is great as the president, Morgan Freeman is great in whatever his role actually is, and Dylan McDermott is truly awful as the bad guy. Olympus Has Fallen has a runtime of 119 minutes and can be streamed on Netflix.
