Damien Chazelle is a genius. His first two feature length films that he both wrote and directed were Whiplash and La La Land. He wrote the screeplay for 10 Cloverfield Lane. He directed First Man. This guy is an incredible talent, and La La Land is an incredible film. Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling knock it out of the park in this modern day musical. I really can’t say enough about it. Go watch it. La La Land has a runtime of 128 minutes and can be streamed on HBO.
